This summer, after three full and fun seasons of event listings,
ClassicalMusicMatters.com is retiring from the Internet.

CMM has enjoyed promoting classical music events around the Monterey Bay for three concert seasons. Our community will continue to be served online by colleagues with experience in and commitment to the performing arts in our region. Their three websites now offer news and reviews of music and performing arts events throughout the Central Coast and occasionally beyond.

Peninsula Reviews is an established site with reviews of classical music concerts, previews of upcoming classical music events, and a periodic newsletter.  Pianist and teacher Lyn Bronson is the publisher.

Barbara's Best is a very promising arts blog now in the early stages of development. It features advance coverage and reviews of select events, performances, arts, people and ideas. Created and presented by arts journalist Barbara Rose Shuler.

Performing Arts Monterey Bay is the newest website in town. Recently created by writer, teacher, and music journalist Scott MacClelland,  the site "is dedicated to offering comprehensive coverage of live music, dance and theater, open to the public, in Monterey and Santa Cruz counties."

The Classical Music Matters website will remain online through the summer months, but the calendar is no longer being updated.
